Healing Touch session

ABOUT RONI COOPERMAN, RN, CHTP, DD

Roni has been a Registered Nurse for over 30 years.  She has worked in hospitals, research, clinics, schools and hospice facilities.  Her interest in holism, which began in 1995, caused her to inquire about alternative methods of healing.

She began to study Aromatherapy and was certified to blend and practice this art in 1996.

Also in that year she attended Reiki classes and became certified in Tera-Mai Seichem I and II.  She has recently become a Reiki Master receiving Tibetan, Usui and Karuna attunements.

She entered The School of Conscious Healing in Sedona, Arizona in 1996.  It is here where her deep healing journey began.  She gained knowledge of the body-mind-spirit connection through her own intensive experience and practice.  Certification as a Practitioner of Conscious Healing was given in 1999.

Due to her compassion and interest in the dying process, Roni became a certified hospice volunteer in 1999 and worked as an Admissions Coordinator nurse for Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona.

She also attended the Sacred Arts Institute in Victor, Montana, where she obtained her Master of Divinity degree and Doctor of Divinity degree in 2001.

As an ordained non-denominational minister, she is available for spiritual counseling, marriage ceremonies, and house blessings.
She enrolled in the Healing Touch program in 1998 and completed the training, being awarded the Certified Healing Touch Practitioner status in 2000.  She studied and mentored with Carol Komitor, founder of the Healing Touch for Animals program. (www.healingtouchforanimals.com)

Roni, as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, was invited to be a participant in a panel discussion at the 2003 Arizona State University “AWARE” (A Worldwide Action Revitalizing Education) conference.  The discussion aimed to bridge traditional psychology with bodywork therapies.  She was able to teach and demonstrate Healing Touch to the appreciative audience of students and professors.

Roni takes advanced practice Healing Touch classes and attends workshops, seminars and retreats to continuously learn more about holistic healing.

Roni is a member of Healing Touch International (www.healingtouchinternational.org) and the American Holistic Nurses Association (www.ahna.org).
